British Council

Our partners in Ethiopia include those tackling key issues ineducation, English language learning, governance and the digitalinformation revolution

British Council connects people world-wide with learning opportunities and creative ideas from the UK, our aim is to build lasting relationships between the UK and other countries. We are the United Kingdom's international organisation for education and cultural relations, and a listening partner for those in government, civic society and public and private sector education. Our partners in Ethiopia include those tackling key issues in education, English language learning, governance and the digital information revolution. We strengthen the reputation of the UK world-wide as a forward looking, culturally diverse and dynamic society, by building strong mutually beneficial relationships with those active in these areas. Our role as an enabling agent interested in promoting British Ethiopian partnerships makes a positive contribution both to Ethiopia's agenda, particularly for young professionals seeking career development, professional updating, and regional or global networking. Our work with civic society groups, government bodies and professional associations reflects our role as a networked partner where joint objectives, sharing experience and joint funding is the norm. We are always interested in hearing from potential partners, and would be delighted if you visited our website to learn more about us and what we can do.
